Wells if you have read the 3.0 beta development patch. ALL es builds are affected especially those which requires leech. Only RF LL was not affected at all since it relies on ES reg(Zealot's Oath no changes). And currently, only RF LL builds can output a huge amount of damage while having tons of ES(20K+ ES). Hence possibly RF LL ES builds could be the next big thing. Refer to Yalani's RF Build.

Secondly, since it's harder to obtain higher es items upon 3.0, more es = better sustain with the removal of VP and instant leech (Watch ZiggyD video).

That being said, all these are my opinions which i infer from the 3.0 development patch.
