" I've noticed he yells at people to run the WinMTR test thing, but then when you do it, he has no input, the WinMTR test isn't bringing help to anyone... Considering I did multiple and have gotten no reply to them in terms of helpfulness. Just feels like WAY too many people are having issues with the servers for it to be everyones computers, even though some of the people having the issues have high end GFX and processors. For the record, I don't care if it's something on my end, but if it is, and you're preaching that everyone needs to run WinMTR to find their problems, at least be willing to help those that do it, and point out the obvious flaws in their computers/internet connections. The WinMTR response pisses me off lol.
I feel like AMD GPU's seem to struggle way more then Nvidia. (could be confirmation bias). I've been lucky in that I have pretty much the same exact rig that one of the performance devs say they benchmark against (or close to it): Nvidia GTX780, 4770K. As a result i've had minimal issues with the game...i do have stutters and crap like that, but nowhere near what people are reporting. It sucks. At the end of the day, the game is not optimized to be marketed as a "full release game". Homemade engines have TONS of bugs that ususally get patched with bandaids. Anyone who says otherwise has never worked with homegrown systems. There is crazy amount of people complaining. :( |

" Same thing here, and I'm in no way biased against GGG, I love the company, and I'm ok with them taking a while to fix or change certain things. I just wish we could get some sort of confirmation that there either is, or is not, something wrong with the game/engine/servers/etc. That way we can troubleshoot our computers more closely or whatever... I personally have tried everything that has been suggested to me on my end of the spectrum, with varying levels of success, but still, I do have FPS dropping issues, where I once had absolutely no issues... Personally, the game hasn't had THAT much of a graphical change |

Lag here too - every now and then my character just stops moving, then a few seconds later all his actions/movement happens rapidly. Changing the graphics settings has zero impact. Thankfully I don't play in HC!!!

I dont know if this will help you guys but ever since I started using a cable instead of wifi connection my dc's stopped, and my pc was dcing every hour. Also there are less people playing now than 2 weeks ago, maybe it will run better for you now. if you stutter really bad you might try playing in dx9, i did it for a while and it was stable, after switching to cable I no longer needed to play like that though.
