FORCED SMOOTHLESS BEING ACTIONED ON A GRAPHICS CARD IS THE "ISSUE" WELL BS IF MY GAME FREEZES FOR 2 SECONDS EVERY 4-10MINS AND PPL AROUND THE WORLD EXPERIENCE THE SAY BS THATS NOT THERE PC

THE KICKER FOR ME WAS THE "GGG" GUY WITH THE TAG IN GAME SAID " PC IN NEW ZEALAND AREN'T AS GOOD AS OTHER AROUND THE WORLD"... I LIVE IN NAPIER NEW ZEALAND I HAVE A PC ABOVE THE REQUIERED SPECS
AND IM BEING TOLD I HAVE A GOOD PC YET NEW ZEALAND DOESNT HAVE GOOD PC'S.. WELL THAT SUMMED UP WHAT THE WORLD THINKS OF NEW ZEALAND AND WHERE POE WAS MADE.....

In response to request i post here my case:

Hi all.

Due to lastest spikes latency problems and many changes i decided to clear my PoE clinet.

So:
1. I uninstalled game client.
2. I went throught hdd for deep cleaning for any garbage left.
3. Downloaded installer.
4. This is the problem - i cannot connect to patching server and game client cannot install.

Any ideas why this happens or what might be the problem? I have 12Mb/s hardwired.

1. Exeption in firewall is added, also in antivirus.
2. Run as admin.
Beofre i didnt have to do them, but now just to be sure i made them.

Dont tell me that its my PC fault because before uninstalling game worked. Game worked on much more shitty pc than current one and i know how to maintain it. I built this system myself and chosen parts very carefully, also i have my OS taken care of. So PLS dont make me hear this argument.

As i said above i have constant problem with connection to patching server.

I haven't had to much trouble with the game but I do see what your saying with the lag and freeze.

Maybe they need a Big-IP device with a Oneconnect setup or a FastL4. They did fix the Dsync issue with their network code but it looks like there may be another issue in the code that is causing the lag\freeze or there code needs to be re-optimized for performance if this hasn't been updated. Basically they need a new game engine which would solve there issues and they could redo their code from the ground up.

I'm sure GGG makes enough money to invest in a new engine. Eventually they will have to do this or they'll just milk this game until they decide to close the doors.

It must be your PC's problem. Maybe the same that causes your keyboard to type all caps?

I dc randomly as well and crash to desktop when going to character select.

Since there last little mini wonder patch ive also started occasionally getting black screen as well, which I know a lot of people were getting for ages.

Basically every new patch they release half the playerbase probably get some extra little bug or other.

For some some its so minor its np problem, for other its really annoying, some maybe see it as the final straw and un-install. Many probably vow to never support anymore...

And then there are the white knights. So blinded by the light reflecting off their shining armour into their heavily tinted glasses they carry on playing the game as they usually do...

Filtering through the poe website looking for posts with any complaints about balance, gameplay, lag, crashes, graphical bugs, dc's invisible spell effects, you name it the list is long. Their advice is normally the same.

"learn to play"
"get good"
"shouldn't use skills if you don't want them nerfed"
"your pc is old/weak/dirty/wrong colour/anything, not ggg's fault"
"get a new provider/house/car/cat, its not ggg's fault"
etc etc

I bet they were upset the other day though, when website was down for so long.
Servers all down for hours all the plz nerf posts they couldn't write and all the bullshit advise they couldn't post.

Or maybe they blamed the colour of the socks they put on that morning and it wasn't ggg's fault at all. Some of them are so demented it wouldn't surprise me.
