Hack, Slash, Repeat (www.HackSlashRepeat.com) have ten beta keys to give away, many thanks to Chris of GGG. The idea behind the giveaway is to promote this fansite which inevitably promotes Path of Exile (and thus GGG), so it's a win-win for all involved. Why Hack, Slash, Repeat? We noticed that there was a distinct lack of Action RPG / Hack and Slash communities, so here we are.

We will be giving these keys away to 10 lucky winners, details as follows:

1. Make yourself known in this thread by replying, so that we at least get an idea of numbers.

2. Go and get a free account at www.HackSlashRepeat.com.

3. Make at least 5 quality posts. They can be reposts, as long as they are yours to begin with. Note that the emphasis is on QUALITY, this means post up Action RPG specific build guides, reviews or other informative threads or posts, full of juicy information. Websites flourish with good, solid, relevant and wanted content, with plenty of relevant keywords for SEO purposes. Keep this in mind. Extra points for full character build guides or other great posts. Extra points for extra posts, provided they are quality.
* A note on this: As you don't have access to Path of Exile, we do not expect you to make posts in regards to Path of Exile. We imagine that like-minded Action RPG players have experience in other games, so the idea is to post informative threads or posts on other areas (guides or builds for Torchlight, or Diablo 2, for instance). Although this may not seem to be promoting Path of Exile directly, it is promoting the site as a whole and will inevitably assist in building the Path of Exile section with a strong, active userbase. If you somehow know enough about Path of Exile in order to warrant posting about it, feel free to do so.

4. When done, private message me on the website (not on here) to let me know that you want me to consider you as part of the giveaway. My name is Administrator. Please note that you will not be able to PM me if you don't have at least 3 posts (anti spambot measure).

5. Posting cut off is Wednesday, 15th February, at approximately 8:00PM +10:00 EST (Sydney, Australia time). This is just over two weeks - So don't rush! I didn't make it exactly two weeks as that day falls on Valentines Day, and no doubt my better half will want to be taken out for dinner.

A few rules:
* Judging is purely on quality of posts, nothing else. Quantity only comes into play if there are a tonne of good posts and I cannot differentiate on quality alone. Keep in mind that 5 good quality posts beats 10-15 mediocre posts. 10 quality posts beats 5 quality posts. Remember that you need at least 5 to be considered, regardless of how good your posts are.
* If you steal content I will delete your post and you will be excluded altogether. It's easy to tell and particularly good posts will be checked prior to you being considered.
* One invite per person. If we find out that people are making multiple accounts, we will report you to GGG to try and get ALL keys taken off you. There are many ways of finding this out, so don't try it. If you want your friend to have one too, get him/her to apply separately. Play it fair, as plenty of people want a key.
* We are fair, but our decision is final. Please understand that keys are limited and people will inevitably miss out.
* Do not abuse the forum, we will delete useless posts and you will get a banning at our discretion if it's bad enough or if you annoy us enough. We expect that you know good spelling and grammar, and how to use a forum properly, so please do so. I don't want to be formatting and editing your posts to clean them up so please put effort into them.
* This is our first giveaway so we reserve the right to change the rules if need be (for fairness reasons, for instance). There may be a few things that we have forgotten.
* If and when you get your shiny new key and get a feel for the game, we ask that you please stop by and stay in touch and help keep the community active.

A few notes:
* If there's a game that should be on there, let us know via the Suggestions section and we will consider adding it.
* We will not be judging anything prior to the cutoff time and date.
* Feel free to edit any of your posts as often as you wish.
* Hopefully there will be more to come, so stay tuned!

I am off to join your site. I already bookmarked it after reading the few posts that were already written. I hope with this contest you will get a lot of quality posts. The more good posts the more people use the site and the more posts written in a beautiful riptide of doom. =)

If we wrote a suggestion on the path of exile forum can we cut and paste it on your site or would you prefer all original ideas. You said not to steal ideas, but I was unsure if that included stealing from yourself?
Thanks for creating a valuable resource for the community to use. At least I hope it time it becomes very valuable. At the moment it is still a little sparse with community involvment.

Thanks, I will post some of my suggestions for improving the game in case they might be responded better on your forums. I rarely get feedback to suggestions I make because I have a tendency to write long posts, so I will try to summarize my suggestions on your site and perhaps people will read the originals on this site.

hunyadijanos, I would probably avoid posting any feedback on the game as GGG won't be reading our forums, only these ones.
