Keep the hopes up guys, miracles (I.e. strikes of luck, or nice people) do happen way more often than people realize. Plus, if you are active around, there are SO MANY opportunities that you'll strike one eventually.

People who registered a year ago and stopped coming 3 days later are mostly not in beta yet. Why? Because they gave up hope. You've got way more chances at getting in the beta by being active and polite, registering for giveaways, than by simply never coming here waiting to get picked by the randomizer.
