Vaal Oversoul is the worst story boss in the game
Maybe the falling rocks could apply bleed as well? Just thought about that. Could spice it up a bit, also like Scrotie's suggestion that the vaal constructs poison on hit as well. Adds more flavor to the fight in that instance. He's a main act boss he should have slightly buffed minions.
" because of my load screens this takes only slightly less time than just waiting lol but on SSD this would be better for sure R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E. Last edited by ampdecay#1924 on Sep 25, 2016, 12:41:52 PM

"Nah, Bleeding encourages standing still while the Falling Rocks encourages getting out of the area. Cruel design. Plus, Dominus Ascendant is next act and has enough Bleed for three bosses. The only really weak skills Oversoul uses are chill ground and Vaal Fallen adds. Other than visual improvements or player defense balancing, I don't think the rest of the fight should change much. Not even that confident on Poison idea (Constructs already deal Chaos/Physical). The core of my suggestion is 1. Burning Ground instead of Chilling 2. 100% Construct adds When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. " 1. the Chilling Ground is there to slow you, so you get lasered. it is one of the things I like about this fight - the Vaal Machine "thinking" two steps forward. maybe change it to a new ground effect which BOTH slows and deals DoT. 2. would be pretty much trivial for CI, while at the same time a huge pain in the ass for melee. I think Oversoul should simply get new arms/toys and new moves. maybe also phases like every other act boss. but please GGG... for the love of god... DO NOT clusterfuckify him. he is not Malachai. not every boss needs to be Malachai. heck, Malachai does not need to be Malachai. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun |

1. Not fast enough to worry about thinking two moves ahead.

Well i agree on spawn time and mega delay till pyramid opens..
However, i think this is one of the most well done bosses in the game. It is punishing, but slow enough that you asked for it if you die by obviously failing(assuming it doesn't ghostslam), and the balance between punishment and still having plenty of time to react is best done in the whole game, on this boss.. in my opinion. I also don't mind that he is there a bit slow in it, while you are just exploring the old ruins and such, like some ancient find, dusty and a bit rusty. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all. Last edited by Crackmonster#7709 on Sep 25, 2016, 11:06:22 PM

"Both he and Brutus. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
