I don't think it's bots, I think it's primarily lazy people who won't respond for an item below whatever value threshold they set. For example I've NEVER not gotten a response when buying a 1ex+ item.

There's also a smattering of people trying to manipulate prices, and of course the poor guy who has some GG ribbon specters who doesn't want to have to log out overnight and lose them.

I don't think a botter will have anything listed for trade, sounds like an unwise practice. If I were botting, I would use one account for it and conduct my business with another.
