" Usually around level 60-70 i think is when you will be able to start thinking about using Iron Reflexes. Using Grace gem at a decent level will require a high amount of Dexterity so switching could require a +30 Dexterity node or other Dexterity sources on gear. Hey, I'm trying your build out as it looks like one of the more fun ones out of the current 2.5 builds! I"m also a new player, so this part confused me (sorry if it's common knowledge) - since we're converting all Cold to Fire, how is Frost Bomb's cold resistance debuff still useful? Or is the converted damage somehow still calculated as cold for resistance purposes...? It just seemed counter-intuitive to me. Thanks!

" Hey Vortex will still drop a cold damage DoT on the ground which is where frost bomb will provide some benefit. Can someone tell how the better option or atleast how to calculate the difference for fire pen vs spell dmg? I would like to find out if Iron Will or Fire Pen is better with my chieftain.

" Hey a rough guide is Fire Penetration is a "more multiplier" while spell damage is an "increased multiplier". Hi, so started this build a few days ago, currently lvl 77.
It's probably worth to buy Witchfire brew right? http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Witchfire_Brew Drop the curse on hit on orb of storms, drop disc and go with 1x blasphemy (temp chains for example), the flask will give vuln aura and increased dot dmg (which should work with ignite right?). Very interesting build! I was doing some math and unless I did my math wrong, replacing Fire Penetration with a levelled Empower gem (+2 or +3 levels) gives more DPS (due to higher base damage and Cold DoT from vortex and increased support gems). With the other sources of penetration and resistance killing curses, is Empower a decent alternative to Fire Penetration or would you still recommend Fire Penetration over Empower?
