Where do jewels go, exactly?

So many kill joys in this thread. I have a special pet peeve for when someone asks a question about lore and people respond with "Its just a game, hur hur."
People with small imaginations. That said, I don't think there is any specific lore included in the game about jewels but it is safe to say they are at least related to virtue gems and implanted in similar fashions. "Danger is like jello, there's always room for more."

theres like the "spirit" of the jewel or something .. and you like pray.. perform some ritual and you get the spirit of the jewel's power ??
but that takes skillz, passive tree represents skillz the physical jewel like dissolves, but you do some other kinda prayer.. like clicking and it materializes into your inventory Last edited by CaoMengde#7666 on Sep 6, 2016, 6:53:56 AM

This has ZERO to do with lore. It's about trying to rationalize a in-game convention.

" I think this is pretty much whats going on. We know from the lore that Lioneye had his eye replaced with "Lioneye's Fall" (although he probably didn't call it that at the time). Makes you feel a bit crazy if you equip two of them.
