The hackers probably used a script of some kind to transfer stuff from stash to char and then to another mule char. This would explain why just GCPs, 5-links and the like are gone.

" Its orbs higher then glassblowers, 10%+ Qaulity gems and 5-6 links NOTHING ELSE 100% sure because I still got me 7-9% quality gems, my items in my stash tab called 2 Exalted+ and my 30+ uniques. |

It sounds to me like a thieving group of poor sweatshop workers or mafia slaves got a list of logins from a a phishing script.
I don't see anything anywhere to indicate this was even automated. |
