Stupid change... should have been better if they make the drop rate of exaltes,eternals and mirrors higher...so ppl can buy the expencive items insteed of trashing them.

From the 2.6.0 patch notes:
The following changes cannot be obtained by rerolling the item's mods with a Divine Orb: Mjolner: Now has the additional property Socketed Lightning Spells have 100% Increased Spell Damage if Triggered. This affects existing versions of the item. So basically legacy mjolner owners can just vendor the thing now. From 50ex to 1c to vendor. Just unnerf the legacy ones GGG... |

So, this is the reason why mjolner never drop for me when Thor actually doing his job(2.0). Well, at very least new mjolner can net you 1 shard or so. Don't give up hope.

As far as I can tell, all Mjolners except corrupted ones can already be upgraded to the 100% proc ones. It's also the only item that has (ever?) retrospectively had a new affix added as a result of an un-nerf. Possibly this will also be applied to corrupted Mjolners.
I guess GGG have noted the community response to the death of a pretty legendary T1 weapon and done something about it. It is something of a symbol of the nerf :) I only got mine after the nerfs started, and I got it cheap after a master mission, but it's still a very out there unique, and I put a lot of effort into building around it. The jury is out on whether it's still useful, but I'll take it for a quick spin when the league starts. |
