Season One, Race Event 8: Two Hour Party

On US didn't have any lag/drops. Hope I don't jinx myself for next race.

I've ran 6 races with 2 deaths a 3 pointer and (3) 4 pointers.

I think I have trouble figuring out how/when to use currency. What should be transmuted/Alch'd.

Once I figure that out and a way to kill less in Act 1, I should start doing better.




Yet I look at my gear and think I should have done much better......

I tried a marauder again and I have to say... it sucks! If you don't want the 'melee' groundslam which is not really melee in my eyes, the rest is shit. It's slow, it's inaccurate so I miss all the time, mobs run away(!!).. that combined with desync is actually really frustrating to play :(

Race went well aside from grindis two crashes costing him the demi. Good drops all round, one bail on my part due to desync early into western but otherwise gameplay was pretty clean. We hit western at 40 minutes or so and grinded to the finish.

Lost my 1st overall to victo with 5 minutes to go, was a tossup as to who would take 1st as hes on my team and we were within 1k xp of eachother for the last hour. Seems i zoned a little later than him in one of the last resets and he snuck in an extra monster or two while i transitioned, oh well!

Level 29, 1st place shadow and 2nd overall in the end.

#16 overall, #5 Shadow

Decided to just relax, have some fun and go faceroll poison arrow fire trap. Had some pretty good gear RNG, but my Caverns of Wrath/Anger had the most atrocious layout. Very large and very confusing both. I could have maybe gotten #4 Shadow otherwise. Ran solo.



First time I get the +1 bow early enough for it to make a difference. I probably could have gotten more gear in Western but at a certain point I was already killing shit so fast that it was pointless to waste time looting. The Bear Trap was a drop, made bursting down rares in Western cake.
