Why Hybrid Eva/Arm isn't viable - Prefixes!

What was the point that you can get life + es for 4 slots?
I guess thats a bit OP yet i dont have any ES chars guess im doing it wrong

On the other hand 3 ES vs 5 hybrid i think the hybrid would be better in the end if this is all you need since it would be higher then the ES mod at least i think so really its about the same number of slots

Change the tittle to "please explain to me the benefits of ev/arm" or something.

Because clearly it's viable, you just don't understand the mechanics behind it yet. Every defense in this game has benefits and downsides, it's up to you to find one you like and add additional layers to combat it's weaknesses.(or play with the weakness in mind, which is also a viable counter-play)

Personally i like to stack up to three defensive layers minimum on all of my chars.

Evasion/dodge/fortify
evasion/dodge/mind over mater
evasion/armor/fortify
etc etc

Obviously with potions to help out where needed (max resist/basalt etc)

You can push that even higher but at a certain point your cutting into your damage output to harshly which will put your character in more danger then required.
