How do you get the taming?
3 two-stones unique rings are quite cheap but im confused what would the taming be if i vendor them? unidentifired or identifred? if it's identifired its stats would base on those rings stats or not ?
Meanwhile crafting by hunter's reward costs about 6ex

not sure i under stood you.. you get taming from div cards or cardio deals or vendoring all the 3 differnet two stone uniqs: berek's _____

Looking to possibly respec my Scion to this build, now that CoC is broken (she was ST-CoC before).

Adding in the 2 ascendancy points for the uber lab I've opted to go for path of the marauder. It lets us pick up the life and armor node at the marauder start, and allows us to drop the melee attack damage at scion start since we don't really care about that. It also gives us the option to keep or drop the 18% fire resistance node depending on how our resistance from gear is.

For the other passive point that you gain from ascendancy, I've placed it into the jewel node to the northeast of the scion.

(On as side note, I'm not sure why this jewel node was left out of the original Scion build. It is more beneficial to drop a 5% life node from the scion wheel, grab the jewel node and throw in any vivid prefix jewel with 6-7% increased life. That being said, maybe there is another node elsewhere on the tree that we would choose to drop before the life node.)

Anyways looks like a fun build! Can't wait to give it a try!

Thanks!

I believe he is just confused as to how you obtain The Taming.

To clarify:

Although you are correct in saying that some two-stone unique rings are cheap, you can't just randomly vendor 3 unique two-stone rings. You must vendor the following 3:

Berek's Pass
Berek's Grip
Berek's Respite

The kicker here is Berek's Respite, as it is the rarest of those 3 rings.
A quick search on poe.trade shows in standard league the first 2 rings are only a handful of chaos, while Berek's respite is 8 exalted.

To purchase The Taming is also around 8-9 exalted, so it's basically a wash if you want to buy the 3 rings and do the recipe or just buy the completed ring directly.

As for stats, they aren't affected by the stats of the original rings, and you can't see the stats from the vendor before you actually complete the trade: if it did, people would abuse this by swapping around the cheaper rings to find combinations that resulted in high roll Tamings. That being said, the only variable stats on the taming is the elemental resists, which have a pretty small range. If you felt so inclined to upgrade a weak Taming, you could do so after the fact with blessed and divine orbs.

As for the Hunter's Reward div cards, I'm not sure how you would be able to craft one for only 6 ex, as the cards are going for multiple exalts each in both standard and essence leagues.

As all Tamings are very comparable, just do the math: it is cheaper to buy all 3 Berek's rings, buy 5 Hunter's Reward cards, or just buy the Taming itself?

Sorry! Im not good at English. when i checked all listed hunter's rewards, there are some card owners ,who always offline listed them for 2ex each so i thought it costs total 6ex for a pack of three cards. Taming price is going down as the league going to end soon so yeah it's time i can buy one for myself. Thanks for your reply.
PS.1. i fu*king love this build but my potato laptop didnt allow me to play it smoothly. i did try to minimize to potato setting and it look urgly as fu*k lol poor me :/

its better for you to just keep another zerphi flask... writhing jar dont help refilling much flask (unless your a pathfinder, but than you wont have any problem anyway)
