On your stream, you once mentioned that you did an RF version of ED/Contagion. How does that compare to this version?

" A bit higher DPS, but much lower clear speed due to lack of whirling blades & Trickster availability. Single target boss fights was a bit faster but in general lacked clear speed for good exp/h feeling. Slightly tankier but also higher budget cost. If combined with that leagues talisman necklaces you could run uber super safely with it, even in hardcore. Could you use Lioneye's Vision chest for the 7 link?
I have a 6 link one on another character that I was wondering if I can transfer over to my new ED/contagion character. Just gotta recolor. | |

Great build !
I made a preliminary Scion version for 2.3 which basically is as close to the original as possible but utilizes the new 8 point Ascendant ( giving offensive / defensive / mana buffs as well as frenzy charge generation and Onslaught ). Additionally the Scion tree provides a lot of needed stats ( str, int, dex ) as well as Resistances without wasting points. http://poeurl.com/DlQ Alternatively one can choose the Deadeye ascension instead of Raider for 100% pierce and an extra projectile. " I personally don't like piercing for ED, it's not a bad thing but if i can chose anything else for it i would since you only need to hit 1 target as well as the fact that with the new pierce gem being a more dmg multiplier (at least for now...) we already have 50% piercing freely. " Pierce is just an option - the Raider ascension gives Frenzy charges on kill and Onslaught at full frenzy charges which should hugely increase clear speed. When Chuck Norris plays PoE masters do his missions
