Vinktar overnerf?

It still must be stressed that the original Vessel was horrifyingly overpowered. Any build worth its salt can't be one-shot, which meant that the 20% insta-leech meant you were outright invincible so long as you bothered to hit anything.

And as for flask uptime... SioChan did mention a very important part: you can take items (don't forget passives, or certain Ascendancies) that will boost your flasks a good deal. So you can still get an insanely long-lasting buff, and ALMOST two sips... Since you could combine Arcane Chemistry (-15%) with a belt of Sipping (-20%). If there was another item that could grant -10%, that'd let an 80% rolled Vinktar be used twice.

Lol, people asked for something to get nerfed and are surprised when it becomes borderline useless?

We all knew how this jig was going to end. Forums + reddit + streamers asking/begging for something to get nerfed GUARANTEES the item will become useless post-nerf.

People are still surprised by this?

Good thing is you can still enjoy the flask in Standard. Probably won't be touched by GGG again for at least another year and a half so you have some time for your flasks to appreciate in value.

Nerfed and overnerfed are quite different things.

Consuming Dark was OP and got hit by a nerfhammer. It's still OK though.
Vessel of Vinktar was OP and got hit by a nerfhammer too, but now it's quite useless, especially considering its rarity tier.

There is no knowledge
That is not power
Well it's not like there were streamers saying Consuming Dark was OP an continuously asking GGG to nerf it.

Then more people on forums and reddit complaining about this flask.

I never saw that about Consuming Dark.

For the amount of vitriol VoV generated I'm actually surprised this thing didnt get a harder nerf.

As mentioned in OP, I'm testing this on a Pathfinder, with a reduced charges/duration belt, using all 4 flask clusters in the tree as well as poacher's mark.

I believe reduced charges used is additive with increased charges used on the flask. So after 35% reduced charges used, a 80% inc VoV would still have 45% inc charges used. This means a sip costs 44 charges.

I would much rather have the flask be 30% inc charges used and 6-8% leech. That way with investment it would be possible to get it to two uses out of one flask.
