I posted a reddit thread about it, I found out how it is atm: if the initial hit of the ED kills the mob, Contagion doesn't spread it. Needs to be fixed asap cause it's broken this way...

Same here, it looks like when you first hit with ED and then contagion it works but if you first use contagion and then ED it does not. As someone other has mentioned when target is killed with other source while having contagion and ED also works. Might be because of the DOT killing the first source apply matters? like with increased rarity support.

yeah something worse is happening now.
casting contagion and they cannot be killed by essence drain and they dont take any damage by it! GGG QoL Feature of the Year! SKILLTREE AND FRIENDS SEARCH!
