Templar Warlock... Technically warlocks kill witches, innate hatred towards them. Seems fitting...
Warlock buffs would evolve around degenerative spell effects and substantial AoE support. Example: 5% increased area and damage for every specter active. "Another... Solwitch thread." AST

We already have the art for the third templar Ascendancy.
 Doesn't scream Warlock to me. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

*If* witch gets Necromancer?
Listen to the witch's first words in the game: "Soon the dead will rise for me, not against me." The witch SHOULD be the the primary necromancer type. The Templar, on the other hand should get some very nice buffs and defenses AGAINST undead monsters and demons. If you wanted to have a mix of the two considering the proximity of the skill trees, the Templar could get some Dominating blow type effects that apply on kill. crit etc - which would be kind of like "Turning Undead" Paladin skills. I don't think that Templar get next "caster" class. He will have some kind of "magic warrior" specialisation.
Last Marauder Ascendancy will be probably caster oriented. Shaman or something like that. |
