qft. The idea of anything but a bow combined with a Quiver is so silly >.<

Have you ever checked where the quiver goes? In the off hand? Not quite. It goes on the back of the character, and its used with the main hand when the character pulls out arrows. Quivers go in the offhand slot not because they belong there but for reasons of game interface usability and simplicity.

In "real life", there is no reason why you couldn't wear a quiver with a 1H weapon, a 2H weapon, or a 1H weapon + shield. In real life no one would do it cause it makes no sense. In real life, no one wants to because quivers are not magic and don't give resistances and life. In this game, you cannot wear a quiver with anything but a bow because it would be strange and doesn't make sense within the game mechanics.

Quivers with 1H weapons? No thank you.
