Is it possible to buy 6L from the vendor?

Hi

I recently just bought a 5L from the vendor for 2 alterations.

Sold it for 5gcp.

I was curious? Just how lucky was I that he had a 5L? Also, is it possible he can sell 6L items?

I think I saw someone on reddit who got a 6L from the vendor. not sure tho, might have been a 5L.

are the vendor items generated randomly like drops except he cant have rares and uniques then ?

I have also bought a 5L from a vendor in CB. Was a lucky day indeed. It is possible as the shop is completely random.

So lets assume (for the purposes of this) the drops on mobs are as follows:

On a chest:

White: 90%
Magic: 8%
Rare: 1.9%
Unique: 0.1%

1Socket: 40%
2 sockets: 40%
3 sockets: 15%
4 sockets: 3%
5 sockets: 1.5%
6 sockets: 0.5%

etc etc for links and so on

Then im assuming for the vendor they maybe add the chance of rare and unique to white to make it like

White: 92%, magic 8% but that they act the same as drops for sockets and links?

I mean think of how many mobs you slay. you must get 1000 drops in a few hours. And you dont see any 5L's even after maybe 10000 drops. The vendor has maybe 50 items at a given time. So its not unreasonable for his items to follow a similar ruling to how mobs drop their items except for the fact that the item cannot be rare or unique. I would hazard a guess that socket and links drop rates are the same as vendor stock rates of these type.

It just seems more rare for a vendor to have them as you see much less items from the vendor than you do from mobs in a typical few hour session.

I've bought more than 10 4 links, and one 5 link from vendor in act 3. I am somewhat surprised by how frequently I see useful links there. I also get at least a chromie every two levels from vendor purchased items.
Does your item rarity stat effect what is offered?

Yes. Only zones 50+ can roll a 6S/L though. They also reset every time you level up, so be sure to check.

If we don't take lvl since a long time, vendor reset or never reset if we don't take lvl ?
