Emberwake and the Taming

Sure it's worth it, but it's mostly besides the point. Taming is still difficult to obtain in temps because the build isn't popular enough to have everyone chancing it, and devs don't concern themselves too much with perma.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Emberwake + the taming + consuming dark with ignite/fire passives/ignite gem. Screw the 80% less burning damage you'll have 500% Increased damage stacking poison hits.

Edit; and I thought consuming dark with incinerate would be bad enough by itself. If they don't nerf incinerate by at least 50% or change its mechanics I'm going it lol.

If you use Consuming dark you don't need Emberwake and Chance to ignite and Taming will do nothing, it's just Consuming dark for instant poison mayhem. Yeah, if they don't do anything it will be ridiculous.

You missed the best part; enemies take 10% Increased damage per ignite. That include 10% Increased poison damage per ignite. Poison damage stacking is free so the 80% less burning damage from emberwake is not affected. There is a good chance if GGG read this they may change emberwake to 80% less damage over time. Just calculated the taming can give a reasonable 2190% increased damage on one particular hit with this combo.

10% (cloak of flame) + 5% (rashkaldor's patience) + 5% (taming) + 25% (dyadus) + 5% (emberwake) + 25% (tree) + 18% (6x ignite jewels) + 7% (gang's momentum)
100% Chance to Ignite
110% increased ignite duration
8.4 seconds per ignite (11.76 with temporal chains)
18.62 casts per second with six 5% cast speed/ignite jewels, quality 20/20 SE/FC/LMP, perfect cast speed emberwake, passive tree cast nodes.

The Hook:
2190% increased damage on the last hit at 11.76 seconds from the taming ring alone

Indeed I have, though it's not 'enemies take', it's 'you deal'. Anyway, I'm thinking the poisoning Incinerate will be so ridiculous you won't get to stack more than 50% inc damage before the target kicks the bucket, it might even take a few milliseconds longer as you sacrifice a quarter of your poison base compared to 100% chaos setup so you'd sacrifice two ring slots for nothing.

Well, we're probably building air sculptures here, poison incinerate is so obvious there's no chance in hell it will pass even precursory quality checks.

I am just posting this incase people didnt understand.

Taming 10% inc damage is per target, so if you have 10 burns each on 10 enemies that is still only 100% inc damage on that target, considering that you have around 300% inc already from everything else its not really much.

I did a lot of testing with taming+emberwake, its very weak you just cant make it work. You cant specialize into it wihout losing damage if you would just not focus on the burn but on the innitial hit only.
another problem with the combo is that you can't use elreon rings meaning you have to pay high mana costs for incinerate.

Then you aren't doing it correctly.

Incinerate gets about 15-16 casts per second from Spell Echo and Faster Casting alone, with dual Cybil's Paws.

With just a level 21 Chance to Ignite, you get about 8 ignites per second.

Ignite lasts 4 seconds.

That means you get about 320% increased damage after four seconds, assuming you have a streamlined ignite amount. It can vary based on your ignite procs.

This means Chance to Ignite deals more damage than Iron Will with tons of strength or Fire Penetration.

Incinerate's mana cost is not an issue.
