Hall of Lame - worst Unique rolls ever found

Quite terribad, but still far from worst roll:

fire & chaos damage range in 55-100 to 65-120
phys is in 80-120 (it's a legacy version)
Ranger builds list: /917964

If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...

It was priced significantly lower than every other one, and it was the only one I could afford at the time. I knew the rolls were bad, but I didn't realize that they were literally the worst rolls possible!

My score is 1.33%. Not even close to the other scores so far.

Edit: 1.04% with the new math. I missed that as well.
Had this vault map in my HC inventory uid, but yeeeah.. shit turned out perfect alright...

Wrong. Its rating is only 1/(2000-1800+1) = 0.4975%. Looks like fifth place atm.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Time for Rebuke of the Vaal to steal the show.

The chance of getting a perfect/worst one is about 1 in 23 billion. To put that into perspective, the odds of winning the Powerball™ Jackpot are about 1 in 292 million. So you're about 80 times more likely to win the lottery than to find a perfect Rebuke. Currently there is only one perfect one known to exist, and it's in the hands of a very happy collector.

The reason this item is so hard to get perfect is that there are so many numbers that can vary. Of the 6 mods it has, there are 10 numbers that can change. Only the lightning damage minimum value doesn't change (always 1).

10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 1 * 21 * 11 = 23,100,000,000 possible variations

Math

(28-19+1) * (40-31+1) *

(1-1+1) * (70-50+1) *
(20-10+1) = 23,100,000,000 possible variations

Here's the worst one I've seen so far (non-legacy)

1 * 2 * 7 * 1 * 6 * 1 * 1 * 2 * 1 * 2 * 2 = 672 "imperfection" points

Math

(19-19+1) * (32-31+1) *
(25-19+1) * (31-31+1) *
(24-19+1) * (31-31+1) *
(19-19+1) * (32-31+1) *
(1-1+1) * (51-50+1) *
(11-10+1) = 672 "imperfection" points

672 / 23,100,000,000 = 0.000000029
0.000000029 * 100% = 0.0000029%

That takes first place by a wide margin, although it's possible for an even worse one to be found. Time check your stashes! Remember there are legacy ones out there that will have lower rolls, so take that into account when doing your math.

Pretty much. The item has so much variation that it's unlikely you'll ever find two Rebukes with the exact same rolls. I haven't actually done the math on that though, but it's the same idea where if you shuffle a standard 52 card deck, the new order of cards is virtually guaranteed to be unique (i.e. never occurred before).

Nice damage but perfect anti-level weapon, if you want to say forever "young" (aka. tedious level grinding).
Im glad that i replaced it recently;)

Wooo, this thread lives on. :D Gotta update the first post when I get home and calculate some stuff. Also, please double check your calculations!

EDIT: Hmmm, think I'll move all of this into google document, as updating it here it the forum takes more and more time. Maybe only post 3-5 "top" ones (because they don't change as often), so there is some trophy and fame value to it. :D Whad'ya think?

203% phys damage from 200-250
8% attack speed from 7-12
104 mana from 100-150

4/51*2/6*5/51=0.002563 or 0.256%
