because, for that 1 level of herald of ice, we sacrificed alot of unreserved mana...
since empower not going to buff ice bite and enlighten.
is that ur intention to boost the herald of ice?

Empowering herald of ice is just another way to boost your dps, if you feel like you are low on mana you can always just not do it.

First of all, empower level 3 grants us +2 levels, and empower level 4 grants us +3 levels so its not +1 level its more.
Second, Herald of Ice gives a very decent boost to our dps, so every level of it boosts even more.
For Ice Bite it grants higher chance for gaining frenzy charge, which is good.

If you feel like dropping empower until you get more mana you can do it but I think you should make sure there is no other way to sort your mana issues first.

Thanks for making this updated build guide, it looks amazing! I'm thinking of trying this soon in the next 5 week league but I was wondering if the crit version of the build is viable for HC or if there are any small tweeks that can be made to make it viable while keeping crit.

Nope, it only affects attacks aswell. Life is the best option.

If I find the time soon I'll try to see if theres an option to go HC with it without IC.

Does Ice Bite worth getting Q20? It seems like they're dead before it freeze.
