Blessed Orb to remove Vaal Corruption from items

A game doesn't get better by making it easier... Vaal orbs and corruption are fine as is!
6 white linked sockets here I come.
Better use that new recipe to create an awesome Simple Robe. Ooops... there is already one. :P
no thanks
Hi

I think in the future it would be interesting to have a recipe that involves blessed orbs and making them into a ''purity'' orb or something, this orb would never drop and could only be created, but really the creation of such an idea has to roll with the story line. If POE's story line incorporates the idea that someone made a orb that counteracts the corruption...perhaps maybe even a person could give you a one time Q reward to remove a corruption? or maybe a new master?

The idea is intriguing but knowing GGG they will simply add some untested material that cost waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much to craft with or drops are abysmal as usual so it will take forever to get the necessary pieces or maybe GGG can get off its high horse and start introducing account bound gear...Account bound gear could fix a fair amount of issues in this damned game, ex: GGG announces a change to a unique and the previous version will now be legacy. GGG would then set a date, players would trade the soon to be legacy item like trading fiends that they are and once deadline is reached, GGG makes that legacy item account bound. This could be done for many things in POE, cough* SFL.

It is not outside of player control. No one is forcing player to use vaal orb.

Are you implying that someone's freedom of non-participation in a thing gives them control over that thing?

Maybe in a roundabout way involving feedback, but not directly. I don't think it's fair to say a player has sufficient control over the outcome of Vaal Orbs simply because they can choose not to use them. Think about the other implications of this.

If we're down to the "challenge" of the game being the random outcome of a currency item, then the game is in big trouble.
