Sure enough, I gave challenges away too in last 1m league, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy :)
The good thing about selling shrines is you can't really do it whenever you want, it ain't no HC cruel malachai. I suppose one challenge is supposed to be annoying, most are easy-peasy this time or at least there aren't any checklist challenges. Well, killing a warband leader might prove pesky. " It's not though, i can understand why you would feel that way, but at the same time you can bypass "random" in this game by offering hefty rewards to other people for finding what you are looking for etc. So you can 1) play a lot, which increases your odds 2) multi-spawn instances during certain league modifiers for the more trickier ones(like divine shrine etc) 3) trade-to-mtx Simply put, you can utilize the luck of others in your advantage. but yeah for a solo SF player for example, it will definitely feel and probably be incredibly luck centric. Though, the same apply's to every challenge made so far for league's. So if nothing else, GGG is consistent. <.o Peace, -Boem- edit : also it's worth mentioning that GGG got a lot of flack for the last 1 month + mtx race/league, where the challenges where deemed "to easy" by a lot of the community, diminishing the level of "awe" when seeing a full set. " Fair enough, but I would like to mention the following. 1) I play a lot already. for a family man with a full time job, etc. I get in about 5 hrs a day and double that on the weekends. We both know those shrines are rare as hell. buying 2 lottery tickets does not mean you've doubled your odds of winning. 2) My knowledge on leagues is old. Can you elaborate on this? 3) MTX isn't trade-able, so I don't know what this means. |

I have actually found more divine shrines than I have with echoing shrines. Across 19 characters, I have found 6-8 divine shrines since they were added to the core gameplay, and two (part of the 6-8) since awakening release. Only 4-5 echoing shrines, and only one since awakening release. :(
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.
