Prepare for minion nerf?

I love my summoning witch. (66)

But the fact is, swarm of minions actually own really hard. More precisely, certain type of spectres owns hard (fireball gatling sniping ribbon someone?)

On some maps I barely have time to see the boss before its dead. I was worrying about soloing map, but except a few obvious "hard to deal with" mods, I faceroll most of the ones I did.

Moreover my build is really simple, Full minion nodes, HP, a bit of manapool, running 3 Auras, spamming ARC.

I love her, but I'm affraid she will get nerfed.

In my oppinion before they nerf builds like minions they should buff the unviable ones first, i.e. CI (they should give it some ES bonus back, like 20%), pure lightning witch (i.e. buff Arc) and so on.

Doubt it'll get nerf'd.
Not many people enjoy either running summoner or playing with summoners, it's a purely niche build that is simple but effective. Plus minions are only really good once you're level 35 or so and doing cruel. Before then they're low on HP so die often, eat up your mana and damage output isn't the greatest until you have the nodes.

Nothing fancy, I learned from blacksheepnz post "lord of the dead"
Using dicipline (Or purity depending), clarity and Wrath.
Got about 150 mana not reserved, enough to pump out any minion I need and to spam Arc.

I use unique boots and Amulet, still looking for the wand or sword.

About being quiet about it, it's not relevant, I dont think GGG relies on forum to tweak the balance of their (great) game.

It wouldn't surprise me to see certain types of spectres get nerfed. The problem with that though, is that summoner killspeed plummets if you use anything for spectres except for the very powerful ones. I've given up tons of survivability to push my summoner's damage output (via pets) as high as I can, but if I try using non-ideal spectres I'm suddenly a very gimped character.
My experience with playing with my summoner friend is that summons are just... -broken-. He doesn't even run Spectres and he's nigh-untouchable while his army of minions spams out damage. Bearing in mind that if something kills his minions; they explode for 33% of their life, he can faceroll anything even if his minions don't swing. Don't even say "The minions need to get close first" because if you summon skeletons right next to the mob that point is irrelevant; and zombies have enough HP to get close to most mobs anyway with boosted movement speed.

I expect a minion nerf in the future, a level 10 summon skeletons gem shouldn't be that potent. My recomendation would be to look at Summon Skeleton Totems, because that's where summoner really breaks.
can i ask what level ur friend is because full summoner kill speed is normaly super slow compared to other builds
