Think I just wasted 2 hours theorycrafting (Intuitive leap)

you can use seven if you want, it's not limited to one

So you CAN plan around 7 of them? OMG!

As for the small radius, is this not accurate?

Edit: The yellow line I mean.

YELLOW is LARGE radius.
PURPLE is NORMAL radius.
BLUE is SMALL radius.... and Intuitive Leap has small radius.

Back to the drawing board with you. You'll probably find like most everybody else that has tried to build around it that it is a real challenge to find a location where you benefit from using it over slotting some good rare jewel instead.

Awhh too bad :( Guess I'll just pretend it doesent exist.

If it indeed just uses the small blue area this jewel is so bad. even with the large radius the build I planned wasnt that game breaking - and the opportunity cost of using them instead of other jewels were pretty high. I wonder if this is the standard case of "Dev too terrified something will be too good - instead renders it pointless".

It is the most disappointing gem so far ... with the small radius you get diddly squat.

THe radius should be large for it to even matter as a unique. Then and Only then can it be worthy of being a unique Gem.

then and only then will you break through the wall of mystery to the Glow
Most importantly, you cannot continue passive nodes from a point extended through intuitive leap.
I'm not even planning to use jewels. If it makes sense and don't have to go more than one point to get it then sure, maybe.

A lot of jewels are overpowered in their current state. I will definitely get each one that so happens to be along my skill node pathway.
The only thing intuitive leap seems useful for is trolling around with extra 6% dodge while not losing block armour and es.

Edit : Maybe it's a leveling jewel? Save some points (for a moment), don't want to socket in some jewel yet, don't want to take a Keystone yet?

Just about any rare jewel with 3 affixes that are useful to you will be worth more than two skill points, in some cases considerably more, so unless you run an extremely tight skill point budget, you are likely to gain by picking up all jewel slots that only cost 2 skill point total including the jewel slot itself. (Unless you don't have any good way to get your hands on decent jewels for whatever reason, obviously)

Somebody on the forum put together a very useful chart that shows where Intuitive Leap and several of the other location dependent unique jewels might prove useful:

Hope it helps. :)
