That's just awesome, every time i have checked the account that won beta key is the one whose owner never logged in after creating account and/or posted anything on forums.
I know that I'm new to the waiting list (joined 1 week ago), but i would suggest that (since as you said above think that those guys may be following the game and check webpage regularly) at least have beta keys which are not activated in lets say 1 week, get revoked and another one given to more regular account on that count.
Also, since i did not get beta key I'm not sure if you do mail people notifying people that they got beta key, but if someone did not log in on their PoE account for many months, how will they know they got a beta key and use the same ?

Good to know that, now I`ll wait to see if I have any luck.

I am boring of Diablo3. Hopefully I get a beta key to get a real challange.

So after have been registered for a while. I finally found the forum.
I do check the news page from time to time but not the forum.
Honestly, you do not have use for the forum if you cant play the game.
I saw this topic and i got very disappointed and frankly very pissed off.

Let me try to, in polite but honest words, express why and as a social experiment shake the tree and see what falls out.

What about the quite people, those that listen but do not speak often ?
Those that think more than flap their mouth aka introverted ?

Honesty and truth is not something you think of when thinking of a company but it is something i would like to have and more importantly promote.
Honesty and truth even if it hurts the company's image. Everyone makes mistakes. As long as you can admit to them and fix them. I think there should not be any problem.

@Trolls: Do not even try. If you can't come with anything productive.
I want these questions to be answered. These questions should be asked for all new companies.

These are things people need to know before spending their precious limited time and hard earned money.
