FYI D2 ended with level 87 areas in 1.10+ and in 1.09 the had level 90 areas.

Funny, D2 never had buyouts and we got along just fine.. The market will set prices, always does.

So this is a rant because some trade flipper who got huge wealth are getting angry because developer are implementing more things to the game and their items will lose in price? Hahaha.

OP, get used to it, this is a arpg game, and with every bigger expansion expect things like this. GGG may said they will not do it, but they where wrong saying it and its not a first thing they where wrong about.

If you want a game to be stale/same forever, you should go play something else. And yes, they should implement AH if they want a game to be so much around trading or remove it all together so the game is like a normal arpg.

Well naturally the market sets prices but if your selling something I want to avoid the stupid "offer" syndrome, if you want to sell something set a price.

Offer the set price then. Only people upset with this method are lowballers. If seller refuses move on to the next, simple.

Yeah but with that method I might have to go through ten guys with poe.trade I look up the Item find one in my price range and boom, done, no messing around. Folks that dont list a price are usually just trying to rip people off

Are people mad because:

1) GGG went back on their "word", or something they said they would try to avoid?
2) The game is moving forward, including new content (and higher leveled content)?

As i wrote in the other thread concerning this, I just don't get it. What are people imagining? That the game could go on forever, without the introduction of higher leveled content, and thus -> higher leveled gear and affixes? It was bound to happened - and thank god for that.

This "promise" had to go for the sake of the game moving forward.

The only "promise" listed so far was a quote from Chris before the release of the Shadow of the Vaal expansion (3 expansions ago for those counting) that the devs didn't want to just dump a slew of new items into the game. There was no promise there of never having higher tiered mods added when the game gets higher level areas.
