[3.1] BERSERKER/JUGGERNAUT 288k DPS Ice Crash/EQ Crit Staff AKA "The Shattering Karui"

Hey great build! I am bouncing between this and my cyclone 2h and having a great time. With the patch this week I am trying to figure out what direction I am going to go with my Ice Crasher and looking for input.

Reserving 100% Mana. I know with the mana changes mana management should be easier but wouldn't reserving 100% and then using blood magic increase our dps? Without needing the mana leech from Warlord's we could use assasins with blasphemy for even more insane dps. Although we would need some way to get endurance charges maybe with leap slam / endurance on stun.

I am testing out the more offensive variant and was going to try Hatred + HoA + Blashphemy (Assasin's) And then summon ice golem /blood rage with CWDT.

I do not understand how phase run works / cant seem to get it to give me the secondary buff. It just seems to eat frenzy charges I moved my CWDT setup around because some people were saying it was cancelling by casting right after but I can't seem to get it to work.

Most of these ideas are clearly inspired by what works great on my Cyclone build from Lighty. Would love to get some input on these ideas for this awesome build ! I love ice crash.

Because of mana sustainability, but also survivability granted by 2% life leech and endurance charges on monster kill.

You can try it, but I'm not sure you'd have more dps with blood magic.

Phase run gives you significantly more dps for your next attack and enables you to walk through monsters, i.e. escape if you're in a tight spot.

Hey thanks for the response. I guess I probably just eat phase run because I leap slam everywhere. I will give Ice Crash a try again once talisman slows down.

Yep, that's it then. Simply swap phase run with something else then, or use it fully leveled and activate it yourself, so you can control when it will proc.

The one with 6 points left means it's for a lvl96 marauder, which is pretty unrealistic, so I'll just comment on your 2nd one.

The 2x 2% staff block nodes in the staff circle are worse than 2x 15% phys dmg nodes. You don't need block, it's too low that 4% would make a difference, while 30% extra phys damage can make a difference between one-shotting or not one-shotting mobs. Also, you might have a dex/int problem if you don't take the 2 +30 dex/int nodes.

Thanks for the feedback, how do you feel this build will do compared to a phys bow build endgame\clearspeed?

And what about using static strike or heavy strike with melee splash in 2.1?

It will have slightly slower clearspeed, but better survivability.

Melee splash with static strike is pointless, if you check the skill's wiki description, you will understand why. Heavy strike wouldn't be as effective in clearspeed as Ice Crash or even Infernal Blow.
