Is rumi's underrated now ?

Everyone and their moms used to run rumi's flask before the the BBN (big block nerf), and now I rarely see people use it, if ever. Maybe it's because people can still use CWDT+EC+IC combo on live, but I dont know...

I think its still one of the better flasks out there. Granite base gives you 3k armour
The block was very good on legacy version, its still very nice on current live version- max rolls give you 30% block and 15% spell block. thats +30% chance to completely negate an attack and 15% chance to completely negate a spell

a combo of saffels+rumis is also great for bosses who do mostly spell damage as long as you can weapon swap the saffels in shield builds. its not legacy where you could cap spell block with max roll flask and shield, but its still 58% spellblock with zero nodes investment from max rolls. and if you take flask/block nodes (or jewels now), its more than that. now it might not be the best atziri defense where youd probably want to be able to the big hit instead of praying to RNG to hit that block roll, but its pretty damn good for some map bosses.

any thoughts ? I understand one of the bigger reasons was taste of hate introduced as utility flask, but I think rumi's deserves more love than it currently gets.

Cause its rare and expensive and people doesnt go out of their way to get one, when Taste of Hate exists.

If block jewels stay as they are, rumis will become popular again dont worry about it

Because that flask will do shit for elemental attacks or spells, which are the things that kill strong builds in the first place, not physical damage.

ya I think its under rated. Its just one of those meta things, people dont really think. I see people saying "block is shit now, it got nerfed"... well block is still what it always was. Someone even said that with the build of the week max block char, they said they were unimpressed and block got nerfed so its crap.. ? lol. Its harder to GET block now, but once you HAVE it its still block, still does what it always did. But the vibe seems to be "block got nerfed" so now its crap, dont consider it, forget the details just "nerf" so = "bad".

well its a great flask, but i dont see why would you go out of your pay to spent a couple of exalted for it when you only need it for boss fights

1)This one adds much more armor than Rumi's and recharges much faster.

2)The bonus block chance is unreliable as it is based on probability rather than fixed reduction value.

3)I do not need the spell block as right now it is physical damage in this game that is scarier.

for crit builds, surgeons are no-brainers, sure.

although I would argue that on live, the armour values are currently close to meaningless (just as is rumi's) because you can just perma-IC most of the time
