constant crashes

Thank you for posting regarding this issue. This Error message is usually in relation to a lack of available physical memory, or corruption within the game files.

In particular it may help to add "-gc 2" to the end of your Path of Exile shortcut target location if you're playing on the standalone client (It should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Client.exe" -gc2), or your Launch Options if you're using the Steam Client.

There are also noted fixes for this issue provided by community members listed here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/578372 , that detail a method of editing the launcher via administrator privileges.

If this does not repair the issue, are you able to provide us with information about your computer by running dxdiag and posting it for us? (start, run, "dxdiag", and posting the information in a spoiler tag) it would be appreciated as it really helps us with assisting you to find the cause.

As has been said the issue you are experiencing is caused by a lack of available RAM. There are a few methods to try fix this issue, one of these being to try the "-gc 2" fix which the steps have been provided above.

Alternatively you can try closing all excess programs you might have running as this may give you a small increase in available memory you might have.
