You've narrowed it down to the helm, which is correct, but it's not the chrome wolf. It's got new 2D art, by the same artist who did the avatar.

What I can tell you is it's themed around one of the lore characters.

It's new art, so no there isn't.

I believe that's a George avatar - he's the one who did the item's art.

It's a character you know about at least. One who hasn't had a new unique for a while.

Interesting guesses so far. Nobody's got it yet, or if it's been suggested, nobody's sold me they know who it belongs to yet.

Sexcalibure is correct that the character doesn't have a helm yet. By that I'm counting only characters who are featured in the name of the item, or the item clearly indicates it's theirs. So Scold's Bridle doesn't count, because the text doesn't imply Shavronne wore it. Even if the Bringer of Rain belonged to Daresso, the item doesn't state it, so I can't count it.

So by my estimation that rules out the following characters:
-Asenath
-Emperor Chitus
-Devoto
-Captain Fairgraves
-Geofri
-Hrimnor
-Malachai
-The Iron King (Skullhead)
-Starkonja (Hopefully that should be obvious)
-Atziri (The Vertex)

Also, When I say the character hasn't got a unique item in a while, how about we discount everything added after Sacrifice of the Vaal? That doesn't mean it's someone who got an item in SotV, just not one who got an item after it was released.
