Incidentally the 89 in HC is completely useless to me because I vaal orbed and ripped half of it's gear and then sent remaining gear to a Shadow which I then ripped.

She's naked doing nothing until I put some more gear on her (lol who plays perm hardcore)

I would go for the red, but bloodlines mods just plain annoy me and I'd rather just run past some of them which is gonna put my character at considerable risk xD

max resists at all times.
if you go below 50% hp you are probably dead so pot up frequently
have some sort of damage mitigation
focus a lot of your points into health if youre playing hp based, like >150%

Having never used alt-f4 I am always baffled how people can go on and on and on and on and on about it.

I'm not into leagues/races but will be doing this one purely for the rewards. Looks op. Build will depend on what I find but probably something involving searing touch as they always seem to be available cheaply relatively early on and they remain useful up to 80ish.

Playing hardcore can be intimidating, but it's really not that bad. Take any self-found viable build and add some extra life nodes. If you play carefully you'll be just fine.

I've only started playing HC this league. Made it to 76, RIPed, and then made it to 82. It is not easy, so if it is your first time and you want to take anything from the league, I'd say don't go for HC. You probably will RIP few times before you make it to 80 alone.

BUT if you have enough experience (which by amount of your character, and their levels I can tell you do) and want to take the little extra risk of not gaining anything - go for it ;).

Personally I think the SC version looks better... is it only me? :-@
