If an orb could remove the mirrored affix

What would happen to the economy of the game?

I'm not asking for an orb like this, would just like to see some economic theory here:

1- Every GG mirrored owner would unmirrored their gear and start offering mirrored service
2- Increase in supply would lower the mirrored service cost
3- Lower cost would increase GG item availability in the game
4- Forum QQ/nerf thread would increase
5- GGG would feel comfortable in releasing higher tier item/prefix n suffix
6- then waht?

what do you think
Have fun! And go buy my stuff...

Well, the mirror feels like a natural orb for the job. Naturally, mirroring a mirrored item should result in a normal one. Problem solved!

And I don't feel this solution will have a large impact on economy...

Edit: ...or not. This way you will be able to make N copies of an item using 2*N-1 mirrors. Forget the word 'legacy'.
Anyway, it won't change economy that much so I could afford one.

I view the level of upset at the standard economy to be perplexing. Does everyone really need GG items to have fun?

Everyone has their own way of having fun. My answer is yes. I need all BiS items to have fun. Do you have any argument to change my mind?
i see step 1. happening with everyone who can afford the orb that un mirrors and item.
part 2 is sketchy. the cheapest a mirror service would ever cost is 1 mirror which is the point you are doing the mirror service for free. however you can buy most popular mirrored items in standard (like loath bane and glyph mark) for one mirror or less worth of exalts. so i dont really see this making a big difference.

all i see this doing is pissing off and screwing over people who offer mirror services and making it less likely for them to continue to make mirror worthy items and offer mirror services on them.

In standard there is nothing else to do, thousands of people are level 100, all bosses downed, million dps builds, near perfect items, ppl cant fall off the ladder, there is nothing else to do in standard besides try to have perfect gear.

Meanwhile there are bosses in BL that haven't been killed, no one is lvl 100, if you go to xyz there isn't a single weapon over 600 dps, and only a handful over 500. There are a lot of things to do and feel accomplished in doing so in the challenge leagues by comparison.

But some people are too afraid to lose a character/progress so they subject themselves to all the terrible things that are in standard.

Which is fine, because all these peoples are by definition casuals, who wont be bothering us in BL, or torment. But they come to the forums with problems that only exist for standard players and act like it effects the entire game.
You say it will lower the cost of a mirror service, but dont they require you to have a mirror to begin with? One day ill have one of those. And ill never use it because of this.
**Iv said it once ill say it again if someone doesnt have a peice of gear that went legacy you _____________________________clearly didnt want to play the build at the time it was OP.**__________________
Whats this obsession about something that doesnt drop anyways?
I find the idea pretty interesting, it would break the monopolistic market.

I also like to have all BiS items so I can only press right click and feel like I'm a pro.

How exactly an orb that unmirror's an item that you can then mirror again would break the "monopolistic market". The only thing it would break is the game.
This thread is evolving to a debate that shouldn't exist in the first place..
Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.
