nvidia drivers crashing frequently and sometimes taking my computer with it.

used "simple system tweaker" from tweaker.com, somehow i now get game crashes every 10-20 minutes, but no system crashes, and the one gpu crash recovered itself... i don't even understand what's happening, but "frequent game only" vs "driver, game, and/or full computer crashes" is still an improvement.

Try to disable Hardware acceleration. I know some models of graphics cards/drivers used to have issue with it.

why have i not considered that as an option...will report back after trying it.

my computer doesn't seem to have the option to turn off hardware acceleration, but now the crash is triggered by alt-tabbing so i can at least avoid crashes by not alt tabbing.

Same problem on my Zotax GTX 780 Amp version crashing drivers when I play in party on maps.Game worked fine on my old Radeon 6870.Trying many options to solve this but nothing works.
