Yeah I love Jungle Rot, I consider Kill on Command fucking awesome but it can't top What Horrors Await in my opinion, it's their best album to me :P. The closest thing to -core that I listen to is All Shall Perish but they are actually a damn good band ^^.

Hum yea, i like ennui breaths malice's first album, their deathcore, but i found their second album was to screamo for my liking... I also like waking the cavader, i consider it more brutal death metal, but the conscientious of everyone says its brutal deathcore... but w/e i still like em. and i enjoy parkway drive... thats about all the core music i listen to, ill crank on a few songs from HATEBREED once in a while to. Other then those bands i mostly just listen to death metal/brutal death metal/technical death metal/ tech brutal death/ Melodic death metal and some melodic black metal/ folk black metal.

Yea lol, alot of people shit on them.. but i tryed listening to them and i enjoyed the music quite alot. I dont even know all the reasons why people dont like them, all i heard was everyone seemed to hate them lol. But yea i check them out and i like the music. Thats the same as the band "Cranial Osteotomy" Ive read a few reviews that shit on them pretty hard, but i like slamming brutal death metal and i found the band very awesome. I cant wait until they put out a new album.

Need more djent love. I grew up on thrash like Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer... and NWOBHM. I listen to everything, though. Prog, death, black, thrash, djent, sludge, doom, deathcore, metalcore, everything.
Favorite bands right now: Opeth, Arsis, 1349, Goatwhore, Vildhjarta, Periphery, Mastodon.
Goatwhore is fucking awesome.
Have you listened to the new Opeth? If so, what do you think of it?
(I only have Watershed, mainly got it cuz of the Bridge of Sighs cover)
1349 is also pretty damn good. Beyond the Apocalypse is insane.
I have the new Ramesses album, Possessed By the Rise of Magik, on the way; wicked stoked. I've also been listening to alot of Dozer and Red Fang lately.
Anyone who doesn't know Red Fang should check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuRKRFjm-HA
and
This is the third time I've tried to type this out. Ugh, computers.
I haven't listened to the new Opeth yet, I'm scared! They've been my favorite band since Blackwater Park, and I loved Damnation, but I'm under the impression that the newest is waaaay different.
Red Fang is awesome! I can't see that video from my work computer, but I saw one where they beat up some LARPers and, of course, drink obscene amounts of beer while playing. So good.

I did, sorry! Such a good list, too. I saw Animals as Leaders in the summer. Have you heard their newest? It's amazing.

Cause we can discuss every metal genre here and nu metal isn't a metal genre, despite it's confusing name.
