Useless Gems (No value)

Hey guys

I'm having a hard time telling if a gem is useless, so i just keep all of them.
Is there like a list of good gems somewhere or something like that?

These are my gems:

Well value depends on how common they are or how useful. Generally gems that you can easily get from early quest rewards from any class are not worth all that much since they are pretty easy to get.

Quality gems and the more rarer gems that are drop only are worth something.

You are wrong. I have been selling common gems for 2 wisdom scrolls each and have made over 80 scrolls so far. and that is probably just in 2 hours of trading over the past few days.

I will admit tho, I there are some gems that people just wont buy.

I usually vendor the ones that I can easily get from Act 1 Normal quest rewards and that don't have increased quality. Out of your list: Fireball, Cold Snap, Leap Slam, Ground Slam, Glacial Hammer x2, Sweep, Whicling Blades x2, Ethereal Knives x2, Dual Strike, Double Strike, Viper Strike, Ice Shot, Burning Arrow, Fire Trap, Rain of Arrows, Shield Charge. Especially Fireball and Glacial Hammer and Burning Arrow, since those are starting skills that can easily be replaced. Maybe keep Decoy Totem and Lightning Arrow, maybe not. I'd keep all the other ones, especially the support gems.

Your time would have been better spent vendoring the gems and getting back out into the game world. You likely would have found much more than 80 scrolls worth of currency items and equipment in the time it took you to organize and complete those gem trades.

How is he wrong? 2 wisdom scrolls is not a lot. Quality gems sell closer to 600 wisdom scrolls each.

He is wrong because he says they have no value. They do. And to be technical they are worth 1 wisdom scrap. Its very basic logic.

No i was not wrong. I said ' are not WORTH ALL THAT MUCH since they are pretty easy to get'. I did not say worthless. To me a few wisdom scrolls is not that much.
