I play selffound, no leveling, no farming. Straight trough the first Act with a friend. My friend stopped playing after half the first act, cause he gets bored realy quick when the game is too easy.

= 15 mins of gameplay... Does your friend quit every game in existence then? :)

Normal difficulty is expected to be easy. PoE becomes hard(er) in Merciless and maps. Try to bring a char to maps in HC.

He played to the waypoint after the prison. Fixed that private thing, sorry for that.

I watched almost all of the video and I can tell you a few things are special about your character in particular.

You went templar and without seeing your tree I can't know for sure but it appears you went out thru the bottom starting point (mana regen+flat life) then into the life\mana node and into life\mana regen, this start gives you 2.2% life regen more then any other class gets so early. The marauder could go and get more life regen with similar point investment, but if they are going an attack based build it would simply be inefficient to do so. The templar on the other hand isn't that great on physical damage builds at least not the starting nodes.

Another thing to note is that when playing lower level content people typically don't fill up each and every slot easily. Most people go thru merciless without wearing a chest (or at least taking it off when not fighting bosses) as you have slower movement speed with it.

You utilize flask pretty well, a newer player typically doesn't.

What experience do you have playing ARPG games in general?

I won't argue that PoE's start may seem a bit easy, but that is by design, as I've mentioned it actually gets harder as you go, especially when going from normal>cruel and cruel>merciless.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.

I have shown my passive tree at 2:20.

I have played Diablo 1-3, a little Torchlite and Sacred before, so i am not new to the genre.

A too easy first platrogh isn't necessarily a good design or a great idea. GGG should reconsider this.
More informations like the movementspeed armour thing should be given when you play the game. But thats a generell problem of complex games...

agree about more information.

as for difficulty: you aren't new to the Genre, but as a player who played everything you did, I can assure you PoE would be one of the most Complex and unforgiving games you ever played.

mistakes you make in the passive tree don't show up in Normal.
they did back in Open Beta towards Act 2, but not any more. this part of the game did in fact get easier over time, with the exception of some crazy one-shot BS like Tora's Dropbear boss.

Cruel will slowly make you realize and correct mistakes you made, until a peak at late Cruel and then a slight drop until Act 2 Merciless.
from which point, you'll know an optimized build isn't enough. you need optimized gear.
gear the game likely won't give you. so you'll farm and trade.
I truly hate that part.

still, very few games do character-building, amount and complexity of mechanics, and fun of theorycrafting as well as Path Of Exile.
it is without a doubt the game's greatest strength.
one which makes bullshit gear-checks in late-game, and RNG on top of RNG everywhere, almost excusable.
almost.

that, and the sheer amount of options and paths you can take, once you've gained some knowledge and experience: mapping, racing, PvP...
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun

John I'm making a log thread for you here on my Immune to everything build with 10,000 ES

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1215973

Had to start a new character. Scion just works better for what I have in mind and dont have a scion.

I anticipate zero deaths until UBER with common no high end gear.
Git R Dun!

Not harder you can be immune to all game damage. But roll of dice desync may fuck you so its not worth it to me is all.

How does desync manage to kill it if it's immune to everything?
