Always get disapointed when something is labled 1.3 build yet requires items from 0.9 or so. In short, this build doesen't work without legacy items.

Sorry for being salty, standard needs guides as well.

It is a 1.3 Build. If you left the game and just came back you can do my build. The passive tree is 1.3.

You don't really need crazy legacy gear... All you need is a soul taker (7-10ex standard), a BoR (Big PLUS with 15% block, but still can work, just need to use Tempest Shield), a 1c Amulet, and a pair of rainbows, 1-3ex.

If you just have those items, this build should work. The Corrupted amulet is a total bonus, and not necessary. You just need that 50% block to spells. If you want to save up and one day get a legacy soul taker for a little dps boost, or get a L18 Gems/ 15% BoR. With Rainbowstrides, you want 25% but can always be upgraded. I'm looking into / trying to make a +1 Gems 25% Rainbows

All items should be readily available for you to use and not too expensive in standard.

So I'm sorry if you read up on how good this build is then realized you didn't buy a BoR before they went legacy... Just have to save up a little bit.
