Map Drop Rate Is Shocking

I do not understand why people farm docks. Tons of white monsters, a couple blue packs and a couple rares. All spread out.

I found my entry maps by farming CoS. Quick, high density.

Lunaris has the best odds because of its level though. But CoS did it for me.

Lunaris is bad.

Level 1 just got 2 rooms with mobs.

Level 2 is slow cause some unlinear paths.

Level 3 is too big and you got no place to reset the instance.

Again, I prefer CoS.

Just saying lunaris is a higher lvl and you shouldn't have to backtrack that much compared to docks.

You won't be able to wear as MF as in docks or CoS, but that's a different story.

Ive been hearing more and more about these drops rates being terrible. And as a mostly solo players(my normal gaming partners sadly just wont switch over), im going to be facing these same issues. And don't tell me to play in a group. I wont tell you to go play solo. I am not a fan of the group loot system, and for me, loot and character building is what drives me. If either of those stop, i lose interest. Ive spent as much money in this game as i would P2P, so my style of play is just as valid as anyone elses. Drop rates need to be increased for solo across the board, period. My current templar just hit cruel last night, and hes yet to have a single alch orb drop for example.

I absolutely LOVE this game, I LOVE IT. But this is a legitimate problem, and needs to be addressed if they want players like me to keep spending money in the shop.

you didnt have to spend any money, so spending them doesnt entitle you to make demands on game mechanic changes.

the fact that game is in beta is FACT, its not excuse.

Lucky u have gear to do maps, im farming fellsrhine since open beta and my gear sux. I could farm other areas but act 3 is a punch in the face.

I even made a ranger with a known build, so i know its not a build thing.

haha, valid point.

People.... you don't need great gear to do well. You need to understand the game. If you are copying a 'known build' you need to understand how that build deals with different situations.

My point wasn't that i spent money, i demand mechanics i want. Anytime someone brings up playing solo, they are mobbed by players saying things such as "group up or quit, what you got no friends brah, dont complain just group up, if you dont want to group, its your own fault". This forum majority feels that their opinions are all that matters(as do all forum majorities). My point was that, I am a solo player who supports this game, my opinion is just as important as theirs, and if solo players aren't supported, they aren't going to hang around for years buying cool stuff from the shop(think what you want, but that is the entire point of the game, i dont mean that as negative, im a business man myself). Nothing more. Just a little preemptive responses to the many assholes that roam these forums.

And as far as beta goes, call it whatever you want, its not beta anymore. Its no different than an MMO at this point. They are constantly in a state of bug fixes, and adding content, but noone calls them beta. If this was a true open beta, it would be nearing its end about this point, and they would NEVER have given permission for the game to be reviewed. Calling it open beta gives them more freedom with bugs and mechanic changes. And gives people that awesome excuse to use on the forums. This is more of a soft launch.

Please don't take this as me being negative of the game, as I said, I LOVE IT. But ive learned over the years not to let my love blind me.

So call me a butthurt child if you want, ill take that to overzealous fanboy(not directed at the quote. Ignoring problems and throwing the "its beta" excuse up, is the mark of a fanboy)
