Secondary/Off-hand slot usage for 2 Handed weapons

That third one would make 2handed melee stronger/more resistant.

+1, really like the idea.

Could be like quivers,with no sockets but useful defensive stats.

Awesome idea, as someone else already pointed out, bow users get to have 6 mods on their bow, + 6 mods on their quiver and on top of that they have the luxury of range.
Currently it feels like 2 handed melee is really underpowered compared to most builds, every time i play in a group i feel like i'm doing the worst dps and basicly being something of a burden on the party, despite having sunk a fair few Ex in getting decent gear. It would be nice to see something to make it viable.
I'd say they should be able to roll stats from a hybrid of shields and quivers, possibly at a tier lower.

TLDR:

2 Handed Melee builds need some love.

Either way i'll roll caster next league.

it should be pants in the offhand slot, sorry couldn't resist.

Adding whole slot will kill one-handed builds
But it will be good to improve survivability
Add some bonus like on dual weapons
For example +10% dodge attacks and spells

1h builds will be viable because of block+armour.
