When do you consider your character COMPLETE and start new?

When I get stuck in a place that I feel I shouldn't get stuck in. Right now I've got a character stuck at Merciless Act I Merveil. Shouldn't happen. I'll work on it a bit, but it's pissing me off.

Around the low 90s even though it's not truly 'complete' in my eyes. It's the tedium, silly experience penalties, and overly repetitive grind that stops me every time at that amount.

Level 84 is about the spot when levelling starts feeling slow for me. If I had unlimited 78 maps, I'd say the stopping point would be 91-92, the point where the maps you can chain more or less freely that still give you at least 5% of the xp you need to level.

But I don't consider those characters "done," as in, I'll never play them again, ever. My goal is to have powerful characters for every build so I can just indulge my mood for I want to play.

What do I feel like today? Ranged, melee, caster? Do I feel like choosing a build with super defenses and playing hard maps, or do I feel like playing a magic finder and plowering through 75s treasure hunting for rare items? Reaching that point in Diablo 3 was distressingly easy, but it's been over a year and I'm still not there yet in PoE.

You character is complete when you feel it is complete. I'm at 91 and targetting 100. Yeah this game does not have any ending. It's wraeclast. It will never stop unless the company goes bankrupt
