Summon Raging Spirit question

Hi.

I was watching a few vids on YT where people cast 20-22 SRS at a time without Vaal Haste on.
I got lvl22 spell echo in the staff. 38 Cast speed from gear. I can only cast 17 SRS to be alive at once. Am I missing something?

Did you skill increased duration on the passive tree or in your link set-up?

If not, this might be your problem.

I run regular Haste which helps me get into the 20+ raging spirits range. I also have 24% casting speed on my passive tree. (I also have all the duration nodes on the passive tree like Boem mentioned)

duration nodes + haste pretty much sums it up

They might use the level 30 spellecho staff.

srs then linked with faster cast, some on gear/passive and here you go.

btw. its easier to get many spirits with dual totem + selfcast.

I'm pretty sure many SRS builds use +2 or +3 to fire gems staffs, at least that is what I use.

For reference this is the one that I am using and I get 20+ Raging Spirits:

I have 21% from gear using a rare staff I get 22 spirits without vaal haste, the rest come from passives. You need to get cast speed, duration and aura nodes (increases the effect from normal haste aura as well as other auras).

Thanks guys, I have found the reason. I was missing 3 of 6 nodes from the tree.

Using an Extended Duration Support gem would increase the maximum number of flaming heads you can see on the screen but drop your DPS.

Depends on if you want more heads or fewer heads that hit harder.
