Strongboxes cannot do this - they explicitly pick monsters that were selected for generation (and thus loaded on the client) during generation of the instance, specifically to prevent loading new monster types and models from memory on the fly. The only other monsters they can do are exiles, for which the main model is already loaded (because they use the player models).

Creating the actual monster gameobjects in memory will mean needing to allocate a bunch of new memory at once, but I wouldn't have thought it particularly significant - I take it your memory isn't horribly full/fragmented while playing?
