Life gain on hit (a problem)

I've got 404% increased attack speed, having taken multistrike, faster attacks and every efficient faster attack node near ranger/duelist and only have about 5 attacks per seconds. Where the heck do you find the extra 400% for that 10 aps?

+400% increased attack speed with a 2.00 aps wep will yield 10aps.

Any weapon with a base attack speed of 1.6 or higher can get a 2.0+ base attack speed, with the right suffix.

(This includes Ambushers)

Yeah, that's quite substantial. So, I guess it quite takes care of the healing part of the whole thing, and no other investment is needed.

Is it? No damage, no life, no defense aside from a meager 20 AR, the curse mod is negligible as you'll use a flask anyway. That ring would be a tough call even if it didn't occupy 2 slots.
