makes more since on a helm for sure b/c of the corruptions on gloves,hadn't thought of that before.
I think Echo coldsnap is just too much for LLD and thats what will happen, that or OP cold skills perma freeze all day.

greendude said there will be some changes to curses, freezes, cold snap temp chains combo etc. Kind of curious to see how the game will shift

I think there should be a caster unique armor, something like:
+1 gem implicit (this prevents +2 corrupts)
100 es
-10 all res
-200 armor
-200 evasion
-5% movespeed

OR

(Cannot be corrupted implicit mod)
100 es
5% cast speed
5% all res
5% movespeed

This would encourage more casters but not be OP, imo.
Helmet- allows to see enemy traps. // what would be the point of trappers?
Boots- Take half damage from bleeding DoT // again what would be the point of puncture,viper strike,etc builds, i bet puncture is #1 priority in the LLD balance aka nerf.
Sword- Each time you hit an enemy remove chill status from you and your opponent // we have Shackles of the Wretched.
Amulet- Elemental damage penetrates 5%, 5% of elemental damage is reflected back to you // 5-10% sounds good.
Mid-pDps(150) 2H Axe- 40% of enemies block chance is reduced. // i prefer a 10% Blockpen(swords unchanged) node for each weapon in the tree including wands and bows.
Gloves- Gems are supported by level 1 Spell echo // instead of this a Corrupted mod only for Wands/Scepters, why? because gloves allows you a Five Link that is too much.

i'm totally against create uniques that counter builds imo it's a weak design, we need more build enablers instead.
why dont they let -phys dmg taken corrupted mod spawn on helms and armours?

would be really cool to make a - phsy dmg set of items, its not like - 40 phys dmg taken will do much vs a heavy or dual striker anyway..
