Lag Spike Issue

I am using Singapore Gateway. The game is nice and smooth before 1200(GMT), but after that ridiculous lag occurs. Occasionally lags will still happen at weekends.

Problem:
1) I experience random lag Spike when entering map instance during 1200-2000 (GMT). I come out of a no lag map instance (solo mapping) then go back in lag spike occurs constantly, wtf.
2) Game is unplayable when entering eu instance in particular during 1200-2000 (GMT). Latency ranges from 300 to 1500+ ms. Constant Flat lines in the latency graph.


I have asked my ISP to fix the problem. They have done something and said the problem is probably the game.

To my understanding that in order to play the game smooth in parties, good connection to all servers are required. (I don't know what will happen when the new server in south america came out, more lag probably).

Solutions
Can we have the option to choose a default gateway for a party regardless of the first person of the party enters the instance first.
e.g. Party leader choose default gateway as America. Europe Gateway player enter the instance first.
Instance will still be America.

PS it is probably a good idea to display the gateway of the instance when map is toggle. On top of the map mods/info is a good spot.

every time you open a box, prepare to die. sometimes it will just froze screen, then the next second you are dead. \^^/ a good game but got serious connection issues.

Thanks for the response. I am using a wireless connection to play the game.

I will run some tests to investigate the possible issue.

Is the trace to the SG gateway for example. Going by the IP address, that appears to be an internal connection (usually between your computer and router). This shouldn't be showing any latency at all if that's the case.

Are you using a wireless router at all? If so, I'd recommend trying to run a direct connection to rule out anything to do with wireless.

I don't think my wireless connection has anything to do with the lag spike. I have swapped different connection methods the worst ping from the address ranges from 65-81.

has crazy packet loss.
May this be the problem?

Today I experienced unbearable lag spike when in party created by eu gateway.

Dced 5 times doing master quest in party.
Constant latency higher than 400 ping.
Experience very frequent flat ping meaning disconnect from servers, even killing once after not leaving game for 4 mins.

I demand a fix to the problem.
I experience none of the problems before 10:00 (GMT)
