Unplayable Latency

I've been having unplayable latency issues lately (ping somewhere in the 1000's), and I'm running out of ideas on how to fix it. I've been through all of the tech support stickies and did everything that they suggested, and not a single thing has made any kind of noticeable difference. I'm only recently coming back to this game after having put it down for a while, so I do not know when it started, or if there was a specific update that caused the issues I'm having. None of the other online games I play have been having any kind of issues like this.

You must not have been through all the sticky threads because you missed the "rules" thread and the one telling you how to perform a winmtr for network diagnostics.

Check those out then report back.
Sorry, had it copied and forgot to paste it. Also just noticed i misspelled latency in the thread name.

was this trace running/capturing at the time you experienced latency problems?
No it wasn't. I don't remember the sticky saying to run it while I was in-game. Do I need to do it that way?
If you want to take accurate measurements of the actual problem, then yes. It needs to be running at the time you experience the issue otherwise we can't necessarily tell if it's a network issue or not.

If it is a network issue, it's intermittent as your posted trace shows no real network problems.

This was taken after running around for a bit. I noticed that this time, the game was playable. The spikes still happened on occasion, but they were no where near as bad as they have been for the past 6 hours I've spent trying to fix this. Could WinMTR have done anything to improve the connectivity, because since making this thread I've have done nothing but use WinMTR and the issues are virtually gone now.
Nope... Winmtr doesn't do anything to the connection. But it looks like you might want to try rebooting your modem.

If that still doesn't resolve the issue, you might need to make more traces and contact your ISP. It's showing packet loss getting to your gateway.
Contacted my ISP and they are seeing no signs of packet loss or connectivity issues on my end. That brief stint of clear gameplay is gone now. Latency has rendered the game unplayable once again.
Get another MTR trace with the bad latency?

ISPs are notorious for lying. That's why you need data to back up your claims. Then it's hard for the ISP to deny an issue.
