The drop rates and crafting system in this game are not designed with the assumption of solo play.

Depends on your goals. Farming Uber Atziri... then I agree with you. Being able to do 66-74 maps, then I don't agree with you.

Expectation drives people to barter in stead of run stuff themselves.

For me, it is not an "instead of" but rather a "in combination with". The game rewards those who are dynamic in their approach IMO.
Thanks for all the fish!
his IP should be banned, what a piece of shit

I don't know how a PoE map hack would work, but if it shows the Rogue Exiles for the misions, I think I may have been in party with one guy that uses it. He went in the most obnoxius direction (instead of the most normal/intuitive ones) and directly to the exile, a couple of times in a row.

Remembered me of those guys going directly to the doors on Mephisto/Ball in Diablo 2 (before the people using the hack were replaced by teleporting bots you couldn't even follow).

And as for the market... This game's trade is a little "broken" as it is. Whatever you buy/sell it may be worth double or half the next day, for no apparent reason, without any hackers being involved.
Always the same story: I sell an item, it keeps going up in price. I save the item (even the same item!) and it keeps going down in price... XD

When did this happen? In the last patch they added that Vorici points in the direction of the Exile he wants you to kill etc.

I am against cheating and all the stuff around, i think it s a shame....ok.

But why so much hatred against it ?
It s people choice isn't it ?
And seriously what does it changes for the others ?
A better place on the ladder ? yeah....but what for ?
I mean at the office if someone s getting a pay raise because of cheating i ll be pissed off because a pay raise will affect my " everyday life ".

But it s a game isn't ? if someone wants to use cheat because is to dumb to play the game/evolve in the game on the normal way ..then be it.

it s only my point of view..

Cheers.

I guess it's mainly because of the competitive environment, as already mentioned.
It's not only about ladders, which matter a lot in temp leagues and less in perma, but also about getting unfair advantage in terms of more items/orbs. Easier to level and gear up chars further, etc.
There's also an ethical point.

A game have to be either hack friendly, or hack unfriendly. With nothing inbetween.

I laughed my ass off with those "warning" voices hahah

Warning warning warning
People cheat in games because they do not want to cheat in real life. Its similar to beating a prostitute in GTA, you won't do it in real life. Living a life outside of realism is what gaming is about. Driving fast cars etc etc.

So it doesn't make a person a "piece of shit" because they cheat in a game. Gaming cheats have been around long before the internet.

Now because this game is overly competitive, it creates another scenario. Its more like stealing (theft) than cheating. In a way this game mirrors real life. Life is full of scammers, thieves and generally unsavory people. Don't forget killers (PK'ers).

So what I'm saying is that a guy who maphacks and uses the stuff for himself (does not involve other people) is hardly a piece of shit..he just enjoys the game differently. Problem is, how do you distinguish the one from the other..
Honestly, people cheating in video games, cheat everywhere. And vice versa.

So probably "a piece of shit" is the proper description.

Everyone hate cheaters and liars. Anywhere, anytime.
